TalkAm Invoice is built by Dankore Software. This page tells you, in plain words, what we collect when you use TalkAm, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
If you only remember one thing: your sales book belongs to you. We process voice so you can get an invoice. We do not sell your customer list.
Who we are
Dankore Software makes TalkAm Invoice — a voice-first sales book for Nigerian traders. Contact: dankoresoft.com.
What we collect
- Account. Email and password (stored hashed), so you can sign in.
- Business profile. Business name, phone, language, timezone, optional address and contact details.
- Sales book. Customers, invoices, receipts, payments, and the drafts you confirm.
- Voice for sales. Short recordings you make on Talk, so TalkAm can turn speech into an editable draft.
- App settings. Language, theme, and similar choices kept on your device and, when you are signed in, synced where needed.
How voice works
When you tap Talk, your phone sends the recording so our speech and language services can write a draft sale. You check that draft before anything is saved as a confirmed invoice.
After a successful extraction, the recording is deleted — unless you leave Help improve TalkAm on. Translate-tab audio is never kept.
Help improve TalkAm
This switch is on by default for new businesses. Before your first recording, TalkAm shows a clear notice so you can continue or turn it off in one tap. You can change it later in More.
When it is on, we may keep the recording, what TalkAm heard, and the confirmed sale so reviewers who understand your language can check mistakes and so we can train TalkAm’s speech models. Kept training recordings are deleted after 12 months, or at once when you turn the switch off.
Sharing invoices
PDFs leave TalkAm only when you share them — WhatsApp, the phone share sheet, or another app you choose. That next step follows that app’s rules, not ours.
Who helps us run TalkAm
We use hosting, object storage, and speech/language models (including N-ATLaS and related services) to run the product. They process data only to provide TalkAm. Model licences are listed on the About page.
Security and your rights
We protect accounts with hashed passwords, session cookies, and access controls so one business cannot read another’s sales book. No system is perfect; keep your password private.
Under Nigeria’s data protection rules, you can ask what we hold about you and you can delete your account in Settings. Deleting an account removes that business’s sales book from TalkAm. It cannot be undone.
Children
TalkAm is for people running a business. It is not meant for children.
Changes
When this policy changes in a way that matters, we update this page and the date at the top. Keep using TalkAm after a material change means you accept the updated policy.
